As a small business owner I wonder if this Recession was really just a good belt tightening of all the excesss that floating around a not doing business. I think this has turned out to be a good time for everyone to tighten their belts and run more lean, plus in my case it has also helped to stimulate more ideas for generating additional revenue streams and different marketing ideas as well. Now, not to say that I am not always doing the latter, but slower economic times makes you really consider many different options. What makes this so much better of a time in my opinion, is that if you come up with some great ideas, just think how more revenue will come when things get better.
    There are some people who say that this is just the eye of the storm that we are seeing. We still have the backside of this ecomic storm to go through. So if that is the case then many businesses that were barely left standing after this will have a really tough time pulling through.
