I posted this question on Facebook, and it has developed into an interesting discussion. What drives you in your endeavors. the economy has raised this issue among many people. Fear is what most people do not want to admit drives them. One person told me both Fear and Faith motivates him because he is afraid to fail. But that cannot be the case today. you cannot be afraid to fail. Athough that is very tough to do. Failure is what most successful people have experienced. If you have not failed then you really have not succeeded. Fear of the unknown as to whether you will have a job when you arrive for work. Fear as a business owner as to whether you will make payroll or expenses the next month. Fear is what sets in when you hit that crossroad of do I look for another job or create one as an entrepreneur. It also does not help that many people around you will tell you that starting a business is risky or making that type of expansion is risky in the economy. I hear this from a lot od people about my business. But I thrive on Faith!!. I know my clientele personally. I try and understand how they think and ask them what they need and what i can do better to continue to have them support my business. They trust me. The only way you can be sure you made your best effort is ti step out on Faith. Because if you dont, you will always wonder what if I had done this or done that. Who knows, you may fail. Many people will say, I told you so! But if you succeed, and those naysayers are still around. Look who has made a difference in their own life and took control.
