So for the evening we got dolled up and went to have dinner at the Ritz.. We took the Bentley coupe. The line to get into the parking lot was a little backed up but it was a good scene. Out front sat a black Rolls Royce, another Bentley coupe, a Spur and two Ferraris. So you had to step out in style last night. Now the Rattlesnake Bar is my regular drinking hole. We got there a little before 8. , but expect that. During that of evening it's also quite a bit quiet. It was almost a whisper when we came in. It was crowded, but a very subdued crowd of couples. Which is exactly opposite later in the evening, much more louder and happening. But as many times as i have been there, I have never eaten there. What I found out from a friend of mine we were dining with was that there are three sections for dining. We ate in the formal room. Which was loaded with a Who's Who of diners. You can easily tell the baller table by the position in the room. The Champion of justice had that table. MR 22 himself and his wife stopped by and said hello. But the biggest thing is that Dean Fearing himself comes over and greets your table. Now i dont know if he does that all the time, and if he does, that's a nice touch. Talk about somebody who can sell an entre'. Listening to him talk about the dishes he prepared on the menu would make your mouth water. It was a good night. When we finished our meal and walked back out to the bar, it was slammed. Saturday night at The Ritz, still the place to be.
